AccessDirect (www.messagingservice.com) is located in Shawnee, Kansas. AccessDirect showcases a 500 minute plan, Direct Receptionist 1, five extensions for $27.95 per month. The plan offers no free trial. AccessDirect also offers a Find Me/Follow Me feature for those who are interested in call forwarding features, and a custom menu auto attendant for direction of incoming calls. AccessDirect has received no known awards, and is not a Better Business Bureau accredited business.

AccessDirect’s Direct Receptionist 1 Plan
AccessDirect’s Direct Receptionist 1 Plan for $27.95 a month includes 500 minutes, which is well over the market standard for VoIP Business phone service plans. The plan includes five extensions, but no thirty-day free trial. AccessDirect’s Direct Receptionist 1 doesn’t integrate with VoIP softphones, nor does it feature ACD smart system queuing for incoming phone calls.

Although AccessDirect offers 800 toll-free numbers, local business telephone numbers, the option of an 855, 866, or 888 telephone number, or a personal vanity number for free with their monthly VoIP service plans, they do not offer International numbers. AccessDirect also provides a personal vanity telephone number or the option to port in an existing business telephone number for a one-time service fee of $25.00 dollars. AccessDirect offers receive and forward-only Internet fax service.

AccessDirect’s Online Interface
Althoough AccessDirect offers an online interface with all of their business phone plans, they offer no proprietary setup wizard to help phone users get up to speed with their VoIP phone system. With AccessDirect’s online interface users do not have the ability of access phone call logs, create a blocked telephone call list, download their recorded phone calls, and store their contacts. Through the online interface AccessDirect VoIP users also cannot create specific rules for call handling. However, the service also allows you to store voicemails online for three weeks.

  • Direct Messaging, a single user plan for $19.95 per month, includes 300 minutes. Additional minutes are $0.059 per minute.
  • Direct Executive, a single user plan for $19.95 per month, includes 300 minutes. Additional minutes are $0.039 per minute.
  • Direct Receptionist 1 for $27.95 per month per user, includes 500 minutes and 3 extensions. Additional minutes are $0.059 per minute.
  • Direct Receptionist 2 for $39.95 per month per user, includes 1500 minutes and 5 extenions. Additional minutes are $0.059 per minute.
  • Direct Receptionist 3 for $59.95 per month per user, includes 2500 minutes and 10 entensions. Additional minutes are $0.049 per minute.
  • Direct Receptionist 4 for $99.95 per month per user, includes 4000 minutes and twenty-five extensions. Additional minutes are $0.039 per minute.
